Generally, once payment is received, all accounts are set up in few hours or less. Once the account is set up, a Welcome email will be sent to you which includes your username, password, IP address and getting started information. At this point you can access your site via IP address until your domain transfer is done, or your new registration takes effect.

Your ISP will not give you your own domain, multiple custom email accounts, or any of the other features we offer. Also ISPs who offer web hosting have slow connections because of all of the dial up users. We do not offer dial up Internet access for this very reason.

No. Pornographic content is in violation of our acceptable use policy and our service agreement. There are legal and ethical issues involved in hosting of sites containing pornographic material. Any user of our services who is found to have pornographic content on their site, or links to pornographic sites, will have their account closed and deleted within 24 hours.

No. Sending out a newsletter that people sign up for, emailing your registered user base, or emailing to opt in mailing lists is acceptable, but unsolicited spamming is not. Spamming is in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy and our service agreement. There are legal and ethical issues involved in mass mailing of unsolicited email. Any user of our services who has sent a large number of unsolicited email will have their account closed and deleted within 24 hours.

Yes. You can use the Fetch program or our web based file manager to transfer files from your Mac system to our system. You can also use Telnet and the POP e mail programs like Eudora, Claris E mail and Netscape Mail.

You may use any ISP. As long as you have an internet connection you can access our servers to make changes (via FTP or Telnet/SSH) to your site.

All accounts come with our Site Statistics tool in the Control Panel that shows hits, referrer logs, country stats and more! You can even look at this data in a graphical format showing daily, monthly and yearly activity.

Yes, we permit cronjobs. However, we do reserve the right to shut down any cronjobs that place too much load on our servers.

We will charge the credit card on file on your account. If you are paying by check, we must receive payment by the due date advised in the 30-day advance notice invoice you received.

Our system will automatically assign additional bandwidth in 1GB increments, to compensate for the overage. The cost is $5.per GB. You can monitor your bandwidth usage by checking the resource meter on your control panel menu. If needed, you can add additional bandwidth, via "add package" or upgrade to another hosting plan via "upgrade cp". You can also set up an alarm email to come to you when you reach the amount of used bandwidth you designate. Go to "account management" and scroll down to "Edit Alarm Limit".

Network Solutions (now Versign) is an independent organization responsible for holding the registration and routing of Internet domain names. They are the self proclaimed "dot com people." There are also plenty of other domain name registrars out there now.

Please submit your cancellation request via www.oneononeinternet.com/cancel.html. We will remove the domain(s) from our server(s) within 72 hours of the receipt of the completed cancellation form.
