With the click of your mouse, clients can administer their webspace, e-mail accounts, directories, and all the special features that One on One Internet offers, such as site statistics and shopping carts. Clients can even add more features to the account whenever they need them.
FTP & SSH access
Allows clients to update their files 24 hours a day. Anonymous FTP can also be setup at no extra charge. To ensure the security of our network and customer web sites, we do not allow Telnet. We do allow Secure Shell Telnet (SSH) which requires SSH software.
Urchin Site Analytics
Track your hits, page-views, most popular pages and referral sites with Urchin, an easy-to-use web site statistics program.
E-mail Addresses
Our e-mail addresses are very flexible. You can set them up as POP boxes which store mail, e-mail aliases which redirect mail to another box, or as autoresponders.
Disk Space (MB)
One MB of disk space can hold several hundred text pages or images. Most sites use less than one MB of disk space.

File Manager
The File Manager is a very powerful feature. It allows clients to manipulate all the files in their web site. Clients are able to create, delete, and move files. They can also upload files from a local PC to the server in File Manager. Plus, File Manager lets you edit the HTML code in any of the files. Everything needed to manage a site can be found in this great tool.
Archive Manager
The Archive Manager will allow a client to backup and compress their files. For example, if there are a number of files for which a client wishes to keep a backup, he/she can select the necesary files, then create a backup file that contains all of them in compressed format.
FTP
FTP is used to upload and download files. Almost all site design programs like Adobe Pagemill, Macromedia Dreamweaver, GoLive HotDog, Allaire HomeSite, CyberStudio, HotMetal Pro, Netscape Communicator and NetObjects Fusion use FTP to maintain a site.
Secure Shell Telnet (SSH)
Many users are not at all familiar with Telnet and just as many do not need to use it. Telnet allows you to get a shell on our Linux servers. The implementation of Telnet that we use is called SSH. To use Telnet (SSH), we require the user to send us a fax with a copy of their photo ID requesting SSH. Users also need an RSA Key entered in the control panel in order to access it. We also require the user to use SSH software.
Form to E-mail
Our special form to e-mail program takes the contents of a form submission and sends an e-mail of the results to the address specified.
Form to PGPmail
This utility is very similar to Form to E-mail, except it uses the client's PGP key to encrypt the message before sending it. The PGP key is installed with the control panel.
Search Engine
In the control panel, clients can specify which directories they want searchable by our high powered WAIS index and search utility.
Page Access Counters
Our very slick looking access counters can be installed on as many pages as you choose at no extra charge.
Your own CGI-BIN
We encourage development of highly interactive, successful sites. For a site to be truly interactive, clients need to be able to run computer programs in their own cgi-bin.
Access to raw logs
If a client prefers to use his/her own statistic analysis program, access to raw logs is very important.
Anonymous FTP
Anonymous FTP can be used to allow visitors to a site to download files via FTP without a password.
Mailing Lists
Mailing lists allow clients to send e-mail to a large number of contacts in a very efficient manner. The mailing list can be easily managed through the control panel.
Password Protected Pages
Clients can use the control panel to specify which users are allowed to access certain pages on a site. When visitors click on a certain URL, they are requested to enter a username and password which is managed through the control panel.

SSL Server (https://)
In order to perform secure transactions on the web using https://yourdomain.com, you need a hosting company that will support SSL. We use Apache-SSL on all of our servers. In order for SSL to function for a domain, a client must acquire a secure certificate from GeoTrust, or a similar company such as Thawte or Verisign. You can generate the Certificate Signing Request (CSR) and install the certificate from within the control panel.

MySQL is our GNU database of choice, and we develop all of our own products with MySQL.

Midi is a great way to add sound to a website without using lots of bandwidth. All the popular MIDI mime types are supported on our domain.
Real Audio
We do not offer a Real Audio/Bideo server. However, we do support Real Audio/Video streaming for no extra charge.
When Real Audio/Video was first released, it required an audio/video server to be installed on the web server. This was because Real Audio/Video wanted to charge for each "stream'" or visitor. But soon people started writing competitive audio/video streaming technology that didn't require a special server. In order to compete, Real Audio/Video no longer requires a server, and you can even use their free tools to create streaming audio over the Internet.
Real Video
We support video streaming with the Real Video Mime type.
MIME Type Manager
The ability to manage mime types gives clients full control of which software programs will work with a site. Mime types are managed through the control panel.
Personal Nameserver:
With their own personal nameserver, clients have complete management of their domain. Whois interNIC records will appear with ns.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com and you can add custom configurations to your nameserver using the control panel.
SMTP Services:
One on One Internet.Com does not offer SMTP services. Any clients who wish to have SMTP Services will need to contact his/her ISP.
